Day 3 of ABC Trek begins with a delicious breakfast and leave the peaceful lakeshore behind to enter a lush green forest. During the journey, you will walk on a rocky path that leads to Tikhe Dhunga, a hilltop settlement. You will explore the beautiful Lumle village and witness local life. Afterward, you will reach Nayapul, the beginning of the Annapurna Base Camp trip. 

As you begin your hike, you will be surrounded by a bamboo forest and hills. Along the way, you will pass through picturesque villages with terraced fields and waterfalls that flow down the sides. The journey ahead is full of energy and adventure, starting with a high climb through Ranghai and ending with a refreshing descent to Tikhe Dhunga, where you will stay overnight in a cozy guest house. After walking for approximately 4 hours and covering a distance of 9 km, you can settle in and relax.

After warming up with a hot breakfast at Tikhe Dhunga, you will hike towards Ghorepani. You'll cross a wide suspension bridge that spans a wild river and climb up steep stone stairs that lead to the beautiful Magar settlement of Ulleri. As you ascend towards the summit of Ulleri Hill, you'll be treated to stunning views of green, lush fields. 

Take a break at a designated campground to refresh yourself with water and snacks and soak in the breathtaking scenery. After refueling in Nangethanti village, you'll continue hiking until you reach Ghorepani. Once you reach there, you can relax in your comfortable guesthouse, proud of completing a strenuous 7-hour climb covering 13km and crossing an exhilarating bridge.

Distance: 9 km, Walking Duration: 6-7 Hours 

Today, ascend Poon Hill before the sun rises. Experience the breathtaking view of the Himalayas in the morning light. Witness a fantastic spectacle at the summit, putting on your boots and walking with anticipation with every step. Reaching the summit causes the surrounding landscape to burst into golden colors scattered in the sky. Feel the magic, note it, and take a permanent picture using your camera. After leaving Poon Hill, you will be warmed by the sunrise recollection. The next destination involves a journey to the quaint village of Tadapani. Fill up and get ready for a hike up the ridgeline.

On the sixth day, we will say goodbye to Tadapani and begin our scenic descent towards the town of Chomrong. During the journey, you will cross exhilarating suspension bridges, pass through vivid rhododendron forests, and walk beside lush crop fields. The trail is surrounded by lush woods, which will turn the birds into your charming companions. As you walk down, the beautiful Himalayas will be revealed to you. Himnchuli, Machapuchare, and Annapurna South, the three mountains, will be visible. Finally, you will reach Chomrong, a town where the houses gracefully tumble down the hillside, forming a lovely embrace. You can spend the night here, where the mountains will be your neighbors.

This journey ahead is going to be challenging. We will be leaving the warm hospitality of Chomrong and embarking on a strenuous descent to Dovan, which will involve navigating down over 2,500 stone steps. This will be a challenging and strenuous task, but one that will test your strength and determination. After crossing the Chhomrong River on a suspension bridge, you will ascend a difficult trekking route towards Sinuwa. As you emerge from Sinuwa, you will be surrounded by lush trees whose canopy will provide welcome shade from the sun. Your next stop will be Kuldahar, where you will be able to take pride in every step you take, and finally, you will say goodbye to Dovan from Kuldahar.

Distance: 7.8 km, Walking Duration: 4 Hours 

As you make your way towards Deurali, leaving Dovan behind, you will enter a panoramic scenery of lush greenery. The verdant woods of rhododendron and bamboo will be your constant companions, with prayer flags fluttering in the fresh mountain air. Take a deep breath and savour the unique atmosphere of this magnificent natural corridor. However, be prepared for a change in scenery as you move forward. The woodland disappears and the untainted strength of the Himalayas takes over.

Keep an eye out for the Himalayan Hotel, as it serves as a landmark to indicate that you are getting closer to your destination, Deurali. Rest for the night and prepare for the next day.

Distance: 8 km, Walking Duration: 5-6 hours 

Today marks the most anticipated day of our lengthy hike as we finally arrive at Annapurna Base Camp. The day's journey begins with a climb up to the Annapurna Sanctuary and a steep ascent through a riverbed. As the elevation gain can be challenging, it is important to proceed with caution and take your time on the way up.

The hike route eventually leads to Macchapuchre Base Camp and runs parallel to the Modi Khola trail. Take a break at Machhapurchhre Base Camp to admire the magnificent Himalayan peaks that surround you. After some time, continue hiking for two more hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp. As the majestic giants loom closer, the realization of reaching the base camp becomes more apparent.

Distance: 18 km, Walking Duration: 7 Hours 

On the tenth day of our journey, we will bid farewell to the breathtaking Annapurna Base Camp and start our descent towards the village of Bamboo. As we will be descending to a lower altitude, please be cautious of your walking pace. Follow the same trail that led us to the base camp and descend to Modi Khola. Once we reach Bamboo, take a moment to appreciate the expansive mountainous landscape that surrounds the town. We will be spending the night at a guesthouse in Bamboo and all three meals will be provided.

Distance: 12 Kms, Walking Duration: 6 Hours 

As you make your way to the hot spring at Jhinu Danda, you'll pass through Khuldighar and forested hills before reaching Chomrong. The trail to Jhinu Danda gets steeper from Chomrong. By following these fascinating facets of country living, you'll reach Jhinu Danda. A half-hour walk downhill from there will take you to a natural hot spring. This is the perfect spot to relax and let go of the day's stress. Spend the night at the Jhinu Danda guesthouse, where all three meals are included.

As your trekking trip comes to a close, you bid farewell to the breathtaking views of the Himalayas behind you. We will cross a suspension bridge before taking a 2-hour jeep ride to Pokhara. Your stay at the hotel in Pokhara includes breakfast and lunch.

Once you have completed your trek, you can take a tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu. If you prefer a quicker way back, you can opt to fly to Kathmandu at an additional cost. You can choose either option, but keep in mind that there will be an extra charge for the flight. 

The one-way ticket from Pokhara to Kathmandu costs USD 100.00 per person. Once you reach Kathmandu, you can spend the night at a hotel, but please note that breakfast for the next day is not included.
