The Annapurna Base Camp Trek (ABC Trek) is an excellent choice for staying with you forever. Nestled in the heart of Nepal’s Annapurna Sanctuary, this world-famous trek offers a chance to witness breathtaking Himalayan panoramas and immerse yourself in the region's rich cultural tapestry.
The standard Annapurna Base Camp itinerary is about 12–14 days. The journey to ABC starts from Pokhara via Birethanti and goes to Tikhendunga. Continuing the trip, the trek will lead you to Ghorepani. As you ascend, a clear view of the Mt. Annapurna massifs, Nilgiri, Barash Sikhar, and Machhapuchhre can be seen up close. After crossing several villages, you will reach Annapurna Base Camp, a height of 4130m. Retracing back, you must go through Pokhara, Naypul, and Kathmandu.
You can witness the verdant forests, rice paddies, and charming villages inhabited by ethnic Gurungs, Magars, Thakalis, and Lobas. Scout the world’s deepest gorge, located west of the Marshyangdi River. As you ascend higher, the scenery becomes more and more awe-inspiring.
