Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu & Trek Preparation

Your adventure begins as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital. A Tidy Himalaya representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the bustling streets of Thamel, known for its trekking shops, cultural landmarks, and authentic Nepali cuisine. In the evening, attend a detailed trek briefing, where you’ll meet your guide, go over the itinerary, and make final preparations for your trek.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding
Altitude: Lukla (2,840m), Phakding (2,610m) | Duration: 35-minute flight, 3-4 hours trek
Your day starts early with a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, a thrilling experience as you land at one of the world’s most famous high-altitude airstrips. From Lukla, the trek officially begins as you descend through lush forests and Sherpa villages, following the Dudh Koshi River to reach the village of Phakding.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar

Today’s trek takes you deeper into the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll cross several thrilling suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge, before tackling the steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. As you climb, you’ll catch your first breathtaking glimpse of Mount Everest!

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche

Day 09: Trek to Everest Base Camp & Return to Gorak Shep

This is the big day—you’re trekking to Everest Base Camp! The trail follows the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, with rugged, icy paths and towering peaks all around.
As you get closer, colorful prayer flags and the bright yellow tents of climbers appear in the distance. Finally, you reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m)—standing at the foot of the world’s highest peak.
Soak in the incredible atmosphere, take unforgettable photos, and enjoy the realization that you’ve made it! After spending time at base camp, you’ll trek back to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar & Trek to Pheriche

Wake up before dawn to start your hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m), the best viewpoint of Everest. This steep climb is challenging, but once you reach the summit, the panoramic view of Everest, Nuptse, and the surrounding peaks is absolutely breathtaking.
As the first rays of sunlight hit Everest’s iconic peak, it’s a moment you’ll never forget. After capturing this once-in-a-lifetime view, you’ll descend back to Gorak Shep for breakfast before continuing down to Pheriche, passing through glacial valleys and alpine meadows.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar
