Manaslu Region Treks

Manaslu Region

Ever dreamt of trekking through untouched wilderness, crossing high mountain passes, and experiencing a journey far from the usual crowds? Welcome to the Manaslu Region Trek, a hidden gem in Nepal that offers an epic trekking experience. If you’re looking for adventure, culture, and jaw-dropping Himalayan views—all with fewer tourists—this is the trek for you.

The Manaslu Region is like a well-kept secret, waiting to be explored. Home to Mt. Manaslu (8,163m)—the eighth highest peak in the world—this area offers dramatic landscapes, Tibetan-influenced villages, and one of Nepal’s most thrilling high-altitude passes, the Larkya La Pass (5,106m).

What makes it even more special? Unlike Everest or Annapurna, Manaslu is a restricted region, meaning you’ll need a special permit and a guide, keeping the trails quieter and the experience more immersive.

Best Time to Trek in Manaslu

  • Spring (March–May): The best time for clear skies, blooming rhododendrons, and comfortable trekking temperatures.
  • Autumn (September–November): Crisp mountain views, stable weather, and the most popular trekking season.

Winter trekking is possible but challenging due to heavy snowfall on Larkya La Pass. Monsoon season (June–August) is not recommended because of landslides.
