Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

Your journey begins as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After clearing customs, you’ll be greeted by a friendly representative from Tidy Himalaya, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Once you’ve checked in and settled into your accommodation, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and acclimate to your new surroundings.

If you're ready to explore, step outside and wander the lively streets of Thamel, a vibrant district known for its trekking shops, cozy cafes, and local markets. It’s a great place to soak in the local atmosphere or grab any last-minute trekking gear. For a deeper dive into Kathmandu’s rich heritage, consider visiting Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can admire ancient temples and traditional Nepali architecture.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat (1,300m)

This is where the real adventure begins! After breakfast, we’ll hit the road for a scenic 6-7 hour drive out of Kathmandu. As we wind our way through lush countryside, terraced fields, and bustling little villages, you'll start to see Nepal’s rural charm. The road will eventually take us to Jagat, where the trekking begins. Along the way, get ready to witness incredible landscapes that will set the tone for the days ahead.

Day 3: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1,860m)

Today marks your first official day on the trek, and it’s all about getting into the rhythm of walking through Nepal’s beautiful landscapes. You'll follow the Marsyangdi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing sparkling waterfalls. Along the way, you'll meet friendly locals, wander through charming villages, and experience a bit of Nepali life. The gradual climb will bring you to Dharapani, a small village where you'll rest up for the night, excited about what's to come.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also visit the Himalayan Rescue Association clinic for an altitude briefing and a reminder to stay hydrated!

Day 8: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,050m)

After your acclimatization day, it’s time to head higher into the Himalayas. Today’s trek will take us through rugged landscapes, where you’ll pass grazing yaks and small streams. The surroundings become more barren, with patches of snow starting to appear. Yak Kharka is a small settlement surrounded by towering peaks, and as you settle in for the night, the altitude will make every step feel a little more challenging, but the rewards are worth it.

Day 18: Farewell Departure from Kathmandu

Your Annapurna Circuit Trek concludes today, but the memories will stay with you forever! After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home.
